FAMAGUSTA
Just 20 minutes car journey from the apartment. This is the border that seperates the north from the south and was once closed due to the Turkish invasion in 1974. (it is now possible for the public to go into the town, a minimum fee is charged to enter, it is known now as the ghost town) Well worth a visit, not to be missed.

PARALIMNI
Just 15 minutes car journey from the apartment, which is a lovely town and has got lots to offer, loads of shops, bars and restaurants. Their is also a wonderful church in the market square, worth a visit. You can also find Pizzaland, KFC and M&S here as well.

AYIA NAPA
Just 15 minutes car journey from the apartment. It is better known as a tourist haven, this is the main tourist area that is very lively with the younger generation. There are bars, tavernas, discos, restaurants, wine bars and more. Ayia Napa has a good shopping area with everything you require. The focal point is the harbour where the tavernas specialise in fresh fish harvested by the colourful fishing vessels, and a lovely white sandy beach. Ayia Napa boasts a superb Venetian period-decorated monastery with a central octagonal fountain. It has a Marine Life Museum presenting exhibits of past and present marine fauna.

PROTARAS
Protaras is a 15 minute car journey. Protaras is a beautiful part of Cyprus famous for the stunning sands of Fig Tree Bay and its crystal blue waters. The coastline and fertile countryside are equally beautiful and is regarded as the top beach in the local area. It consists of restaurants, tavernas, bars, pubs and discos. Very popular area to visit if you are a family.
